Smart Watches have the 360 scooter a clear benchmark. By design and performance has become one of the most desirable in this area, but in its first iteration had a clear problem: the autonomy of the battery.
This autonomy has improved with the Motorola firmware updates, but now comes a new version of Android Wear, 4.4W. 2, where are special attention to that energy efficiency and improvements in the interface, in addition to other benefits to the ecosystem of smart watches based on this platform.
The platform for Google wearable devices seems to have taken a good pace of updates, and now is when we noticed that work. Android Wear 4.4W. 2 is the upgrade that arrive already sensitive improvements that affect various devices (for example, the Watch LG G or the Samsung Gear Live, and including the following):
- GPS support: Sony SmartWatch 3 is the main benefited from this feature that makes that Android Wear can already take advantage of receivers that integrate these products wearable, something crucial for example to guide them to the monitoring of the routes they do all kinds of sports, but of course extends to other many scenarios.
- Support of Bluetooth accessories: another of the outstanding options of this update is that it allows connecting watches with Android Wear with Bluetooth accessories as for instance headphones or speakers.
- Music offline playback: next to the previous option arrives, how no, the ability to play music without other support that of the clock and its storage capacity, and of course those accessories connected by Bluetooth which we spoke. In such reproduction play a fundamental role enhancements to the interface of this tool that will allow us to move from song to song, or change the volume. The album cover appears on the display of the clock if it is available, and that interface will change shades depending on the service or application that you use (for example, be different with Play Music and local music playback via Spotify).
- Less annoying notifications: until now when we received a notification on our watches with Android Wear this was blocking us part of the screen, making it necessary to discard it so that it disappearance. You can now slide it down to hide it and pay the due attention later.
In the case of the bike 360, Motorola officials have highlighted those new options in the power management section, but they also highlight the new improvements in the interface allowing for example to adjust its brightness during the load according to the lighting of the room in which we have it located. You can also disable ambient mode – which leaves the display always visible but with less brightness-to save even more energy.
